Not sure why company's put shares in trading holt's while...

Not sure why company's put shares in trading holt's while negotiations are going constructing deals.
Continuing suspension with negotiations still going on indicates the deal not done so no price sensitive announcement was forthcoming.
Even though there maybe good things coming why aren't deals completed or negotiations complete before calling a holt?
Wouldn't that alleviate the need to continually suspend making sure the best deal for both parties is already finalised?
Does the excitement of getting close to finalising the deal get to much, or scared of news getting out before actually signing the dotted line?
Zman you guys usually have all sorted and don't have the stop continued.
Don't get me wrong am happy to wait for the news just gets a bit frustrating is all.
