Great -all very clear and something that could be clarified very simply by the company. And I’m not saying anybody here is wrong.
But we have some here saying the initial batteries will use US processed V, while others say the Kal battery will only have WA Vanadium. Two different statements relating to two potentially different situations.
The company says it will use US stuff for initial projects, but does not specifically say it will for the Kal project - possibly because it has not tendered for it yet and has not dug any WA vanadium up yet.
All the posters could be correct - just overlapping, and it’s all dependent on where the Kal battery fits in and its tender specs relating to v supply source.
Presumably though, since Lumina isn’t even ready to go, there won’t be any batteries prior to Kals 2029 date, unless we import everything. So if the supposed WA only (or 70%) vanadium specs are correct, we might not need any US supply?
Come on AVL. Clarify it all for us with timelines.
