Something which hasn't been debated is why Mr. Welker chose to tender his resignation as M.D. per the (6 months) notice of 30th June 2022 (coincidentally also the date of the company year-end), being within 4 months of his appointment as both a director and, six days later, managing director. Why did he plan to exit as an 'insider' then, but seeks reappointment now after his contract was terminated. Would seem to suggest that Mr. Welker might have had had some 'unfinished business' at the time when his plans were disrupted.
