Well thats the thing. Its not about what I know, which is not much. What its about is what was known and what should have been known.
Its true that any one can be captain hindsight, but this is term is more relevant for unforeseeable events. Taurine as an essential nutrient for Kingfish was not unforeseeable at the time. Many scientific manuscripts were published many years and leading up to the date.
Which makes it common sense.
There aren't that many essential nutrients.
If they were even remotely good at problem solving they should have worked out the problem was the diet

Judging by your comments your a little more connected to the company than a casual shareholder.
If I was on a paycheck of hundreds of thousands a year (was it like 400, 000 annum?) I would have made it an objective, as a duty to the shareholders, to sort the problem out, quickly.
But hey that guy has gone now, well set up on shareholders funds, fingers already well sunk into many pies well before he left on to his next "success". Glass half full kinda guy as long as someones else is there to fill it
