S&P quarterly rebalance effective from start of play Monday 18th. There was a lot of positioning across many shares after the bell on Friday because of this. On Monday APT will join the ASX 300 which means many big instuto's will be able to trade it under their mandate. Many stocks moving into the 300 went up after the bell, APT went down - my guess is that someone gambling on this change reassessed their expectation of Monday's opening price.
