100 mb/s and 12 mb/s delivered - but was it a speed test or was it some distant site dishing out 12 mb/s and it wouldn't matter if one had a 1 yottabyte/s connection, one would still get 12 mb/s.
All prospective reviewers should be given a networking test:
0. Does the reviewer understand the above?
1. How many bytes in a bit?
2. How many bits in a byte?
3. Have you read the manual for your router?
4. For Mac users: Our (cheap crappy) router only acceps PC line endings.
For configuring this router, do you know which HTML browser
on a Macintosh dishes out these line endings?
5. Do you understand question 4?
What I am really trying to say is that in some cases the level of technical knowledge is so low
that the reviewer should probably not be on a cheap internet connection and should go where
some handholding is built into the contract - maybe IINet or another ISP.
