Honestly though, it is not all doom and gloom. Turkey exports just became cheap and their market share will widen... any country competing against Turkey on the certain commodities have absolutely gotten hammered! You should really be saying poor Australia! Australian wheat, almonds, lentils etc.. just became really expensive in comparison. That is just how the global market works!
Pay close attention to Turkeys Balance of trade and Export numbers next quarter as those will shoot through the roof!

This in turn will help in the way of repairing their balance sheet and help build on their gold reserves.
Point is nothing happens in isolation and it will not be that bad in the end for Turkey. Unless the world go through a financial reset but that's a different topic for discussion.
