you are quite right - it has come too late for those who sold out (or were sold up) during the week.
A classic example of cascading stop losses as the traders go short then buy back in after the stops have been exhausted.
This is very destabilising for FMG shareholders and the reason I don't rely on stop losses. I have been caught too many tImes.
Hopefully the sun wIll shIne on FMG next week!
