End-game valuation is one of the tools I use too. HUB24 current market share is ~0.9% and growing fast ... but they won't take 20%+ of industry inflows forever.
To me this is a reasonable way to consider a valuation for this part of their business. The hard bits are:
1/ what's the eventual/end game market share? 2% 5% 10%??
2/ what other areas may they then use their size/brand/relationship to grow into once growth in their current products slow?
