Yes this is a good result and more importantly the company continues to meet its targets which is very important for credibility. The market loves companies that achieve what they claim they will achieve.
Conversely the market hammers companies and do not meet result these days more then even before.
The stock has been hit by the short termers that got into the stock prior to today’s announcement. They thought that they could make a tide profit on the result. Now they are dumping the stock and may have made a small profit at nest. On to the next stock for them. We will just wait a little while for the next surge in price.
Newman’s comments in the current report suggests there is still very strong growth momentum so I would expect the final report in confirm this. This should drive the stock again like last year.
I have been in the stock since the start and I am still very comfortable.
