    POMS may of first been detected in "feral" oysters but that is irrelevent as the spread doesn't disciminate. A Pacific oyster is a Pacific oyster. The feral oysters in Tassie are predominately the Pacific ( Commercial Gigas)which is feral in the wild sense not the native ( being Japanese)sense or definition.
