HSBC have rolled out the ID8 tokenization software as DART into a small country, with a small population called India.
In this webinar, the CEO stated they were very,very close in launching the 2nd stage of their rollout with HSBC.
Citibank have just selected ID8 (12 chosen from 3500 entrants), as a startup collaborator in their Treasury and Trade Solutions Asia Pacific Mega FinTech Accelerator program last week.
Mastercard are expected to sign work agreements utilising the ID8's Overlay software as per last month's announcement.
In terms of wondering why banks don't jump on compelling fintech ideas - Afterpay anyone?
Banks are notoriously slow with change. Let alone improving legacy reporting systems.
