Not sure of your punctuation what you are trying to say?
FYI what do you think management should be doing ?
FYI what do you think the suitors will do? Walk or lower bid as they are locked in and need a result and firesale would crystalise a big loss for em?
YOW seem to avoid the market share statistics. What was market size and their % and what is it now and their %. Market size must have increased dramatically due to introduction of competition expanding market rather than simply steal market share of existing market ,they are selling loads and promoting a lot as a new entrant product with deep pockets does.
We know their sales are down after probably having possibly stuffed the channel to ward off lowball bid (that will now be lowered if at all or price get smashed as they exit) and make numbers look good previously now makes them look worse especially with main client reducing their shelfspace / number of areas placed. I'll be blunt and say they don't do that if the product justifies the space or the client continues to pay for the space as they need return $ on shelf-space across store. It seems the subtle way they have written it IMO implies they have lost the space at / near the counters where impulse buys happen and are now left only in candy aisle with a million other products and where all the " damage" of product was supposably happening . That candy Aisle relies on promotion for clients to seek out product and continuous refreshing of new customer base and they are off playing in Amazon a competing channel to walmart store and walmart online. How long before walmart derange them or ask for a fee to keep em on candy aisle row? Have they met walmart sales targets ? Have they trialed Amazon and really solved packaging and transport issue as nothing worse than getting damaged product? Amazon are hard on suppliers just like walmart were in regards to returns and damaged stock with similar claims delay. Margin on Amazon sales partnership introducer and shipper.
Yes they are trying to diversify away from main client as sales growth recedes via that channel
I could comment about the last meeting and what .... ahh never mind it was all rosy , hunky dory.
Surprising there was no comment on legal proceedings nor NZ being basically uneconomical and seemingly Canada being dead in water? Where is growth and volume going to come from? Discounting and promotion on Amazon IMO will murder the pricepoint seeking volume.
