Whilst the dividend may impact short term share price enthusiasm (which I don't paticularly care about), the major unknown for me is the permanence of demand. They've stated demand increased substantially post lockdown, but why? And for how long?
I really can't figure it out. And competitors/companies in adjacent markets haven't shed much light on the issue.
On the one hand, you have a shift away from public transport to cars/roads. On the other, there's been massive stimulus, with much of that one-off (e.g. super withdrawals).
If there's one thing I've learnt from COVID-19, it's that second/third order effects are really hard (if not impossible) to forecast.
