POG has just lessened the damage. Costs are excessively high, look at the AISC of last quarter.
Problem with these companies with tiny pits is the pit optimisation chases the gold price and they never realise a profit. At least larger pits can't be turned on their head so quickly.
Strong management would hold firm with the inputs until they actually start making hay but staring down a short life of free milling ounces one makes irrational decisions.
They haven't been exploring, so the pipeline of assets gets worse as time goes on.
GWR is small, don't put much faith in a resource, it doesn't look like much will shake out to be economic there.
I hope long suffering holders get on the right side of a trade but no way this spins enough cash to support the sulphide expansion, it needs a giant capital injection from somewhere.
