I cannot imagine that there would be any holders who are happy with the decision which they face with this company. The destruction of value has been mindblowing. NTA has gone from 11c a share to .7c share in just 12 months and holders are faced with accepting a lowball offer of .40c a share cash. The Sargon debacle receives very little mention in the accounts other than to say that the little they have received ($4.1m) is subject to litigation may have to be paid to Taiping interests if they lose. IRESS can see the underlying value in the recurring revenue and customer base and it is a good fit with their business so cannot blame them from making a play for it. I think the Thorney purchases are just an effort to retrieve the difference between the current price and the final 40c payout - small change for a retail holder but meaningful for the instos with big pockets and low trading costs. Small loss for me when I accept the deal on offer.
