CSIRO website (https://www.csiro.au/en/Research/AF/Areas/Aquaculture/Better-feeds/Novacq-prawn-feed) says: "As of early 2017, license arrangements for NovacqTM technology with Ridley Aquafeeds were extended to the rest of the world (excluding China and Vietnam)." I presume CSIRO retain patent rights to Novacq; my question is: to what extent is the licensing deal with Ridley provide exclusive access to commercialise Novacq? Over how many years? Can CSIRO ditch Ridley if it was fumbling the commercialisation opportunity?
