Disagree. "one would have to look at the cash flow statement"... Yep, agree, maybe take your own advice next time.
A couple of points for you to consider:
Income statement - What caused the -$87k reduction in NPAT?
- Gross profit -$43k - Given store closures I dont see how you can't blame this on Covid- Administration fees +20k - Please explain warranted
- One off impairment (Soul Pattisson Chemists) +37k - Please explain warranted but this is a non-cash expense.
Cash Flow Statement
As a shareholder, how can you be dissapointed with a $180k increase in cash inflows from operations AND net cashflows from operations increasing by $204k.
Considering the broader economic landscape, this is a great result IMO. Yes there are clear improvements from management that are required (for one, shareholder comms are appauling), however I am liking what I see from a cash generation perspective.
