I like where you are going with this. SEA Limited is trying to grow SeaMoney and have set up their own BNPL already. How do you assume potentially a deal is done and what does it look like? A JV? Why would APT agree to do it, for the Shopee customer exposure? And vice versa for SEA limited, what does Afterpay bring to the table?
Afterpay buying EmpatKali seems to follow the same playbook as their other o/s entries; ClearPay UK; the recent Europe acquisition etc and doesn't suggest they will try to partner with anyone, rather just go it alone as per usual.
