Maybe their buy price from the manufacturers is higher than a really large distro like Ingrams?
All I know is that when i look at their significantly higher wholesale prices, their added freight charges and poor web portal, there is simply no way I would consider using them, even though I am a shareholder - thats a pretty damning indictment.
Even if their prices were the same, the extra frieght charges and web portal would still mean I would use other suppliers in preference.
One thing I hadnt considered is that maybe they make it very easy to get a credit account, so businesses with cash flow problems are attracted to DDR as a distro despite the higher prices etc? I wouldnt know because my accounts with all distributers are cash accounts as cash flow is not an issue with my business.
