Management are one of the first things I now look for with a stock after financials, it was a lesson I learnt when I was in with SLR not too long ago (luckily the trade paid off, never again). And there are still so many things to learn!
I think SLR is only ever worth putting money into when it gets significantly oversold to make a quick dollar (i.e. the 30c range not too long ago). Otherwise if people are looking for long term gains, good luck with that. Relatively speaking, SLR has been stagnant for the last 5 years with minimal growth. Look to other companies for long term capital gains and how management run these. The underlying sentiment has never been great for this one.
Depending on the POG, I don't think investors will be paying any more than 40c over the coming year.
