In terms of revenue, A2 don’t need to provide update. The reason for the update I could think of is
1. Current share price doesn’t reflect company’s value
2. Update market before Jayne’s boarding to see how share price reacts so A2 board can have a starting point to view Jayne’s performance.
Slightly exceeding of previous update and confirming earning ratio is definite good news as it removes uncertainty. Increasing market expense and overhead is “common sense ” I guess A2 doesn’t want its share price overheated
