What do you think is the real possible $ claim liability with court case?
What is the $ the case is absorbing in fees and of course still having old staff on the hook in regards of statements and witnesses? Add in management time etc and it adds up.
Worse than that why would AC settle when they know there is $ in the accounts and that any predator who winds up the company would either choose to pay em out something or AC could possible put a caveat on cash assets and prevent stripping of company in worst case. I wonder if predators have already a solid number and agreement they have negotiated to resolve this? It is very hard to weight up and calculate pending court case values and outcomes.
They previously offered to settle to get it off the books but was not accepted?
