Even with Mick in the room that was a pretty flat round up. The level of shareholder interest/ excitement appears to be directly proportional to the quantity of questions asked. ie. minimal
But don't worry all, it will be an exciting 12-18 months coming up, and eventually the low share price will catch up. Now where have I heard that before? hmm, almost every year now for the past 8 years!
Here is my brief summary;
Good News - Corporate costs down significantly on last year. Mick just more than earned his money, well done. - NZOG/Cue transaction completed. Although the market seems to ascribe no value to this it is a good result for us. - Outlook for Gas prices are strong - The Flare Gas Recovery Project is good but no idea why not done previously. - PV Deep drilling expected to spud in mid-Nov (2021) and Dingo Deep drilling expected right after (approx.3 months later).
Bad News - Range development is taking sooo long! FiD now in 2023, wow! Drilling started on 01 July 2019, so a leisurely 4 years to confirm development (not actually produce) of a field almost immediately identified as commercially viable. - No definitive results from the recent Mereenie drilling and recompletions. Nothing to see here folks, move along. - Remember a year ago when the AMGP was targeting FID in 2H of 2021? Well guess what, nope. - Discussions are ongoing with Santos on Dukas, and we may be able to drill by late 2022. Stay tuned next month for more exciting news! Zevon will be hot on its heels in 2023 (unless of course it keeps slipping out)
Weird News - We have lots of Helium! How much? We can't tell you. Is it viable to get to market? No idea. Does this get trudged out every 5 years and typically go nowhere? Sure, and now seems like a great time to discuss it since it hasn't been referenced at all in the past 3 years. - We may have some Hydrogen, and not just any type, but the exclusive "gold" type! How much might we have and will it be commercially viable to extract? No idea.
