Hi, In case you have not seen it, there is a long article today in the AFR by Chanticleer (or Tony Boyd) with the title : "Shock, horror : Nine beats Murdoch". Almost all the article is about comparing the performance of the media business of Nine with the one of News Corp. I did not look recently at the results of Nine in details, but I find that it is probably a rather fair analysis.
Another interesting element about this article : Tony Boyd mentions mainly the media business and Foxtel when he is talking about News Corp. Almost ignoring what are all the most interesting assets of News Corp (digital real estates, DJ and the book publishing division) and where they are focusing now their investment.
