Only minor volume compared to BSL production. Maybe 2,500tonnes per sub, so 8 subs over 20 year is only 1,000tonnes per year on average. I'm not sure what steel grade these subs are made from although I heard a representative from Bisalloy( heat treat processor to make steel stronger) indicate they would likely supply some of the product. If that is the case they duel source their green feed from BSL & China so maybe the steel will come from China. That would be funny if we build subs to protect us from China and China supply the steel for them.
