A good summation. Just on one point:

Limited pollination can often times result in bumper crops, excluding the other negative impacts, as a reduced nut set means more nutrients, effort is directed to a limited number of nuts. This often can result in either a great crop of normal size or a smaller crop of larger size (premium pricing).
When pollination is too good that is actually counter productive as it causes problems with trees trying to stretch nutrients among too many nuts resulting in either a high nut shed early in the growing stage or smaller nuts. It also can cause more branch breakages due to the excess weight of all the nuts.
Oh, and with the lower temperatures, if there are less very high to extreme temperatures that could benefit the growth of the almonds as they stop growing for periods above a certain temperature, I think Inchiquin has previously stated 35 degrees.
