I believe "Unsolicited inbound interest" would refer to an offer of investment or acquisition.

Also not uncommon for the term "Strategic review" to be used before a sale. E.g an adviser or investment bank is appointed to do the "strategic review" and their instructions are to determine whether shareholders are better off and more likely to realise the value by selling into the offer or retaining the business.
