I have long held the view that bank shares are all about 100% payout. The dividend drives the holders who want fully franked dividends and that the route BOW has gone actually keeps the share price down.

If you look at BEN payout ratio and BOQ payout you can almost get to the same price as BEN just by way of their 53c dividend vs our 46 on what is roughly the same EPS.

Personally BOQ has to get the websites and apps working and user friendly and then maybe people will believe - right now I think they have done enough acquisitions and now need to deliver technology to the customer interface.

I hate their app and even ING bank is better.
