Probably as long as people think they're fighting the good fight, standing up for what's right, calling out the bad guys, and generally trying to give the impression that they're caring, moral and most importantly, woke. Yawn.
Back in the day, standing up against something meant actually doing something, not just posting on a forum or signing an online petition. These days, it's more about your number of Facebook likes or Twitter following. I doubt many ESG warriors have read Nader, Chomsky, Pilger ...unless the books have been reduced to 200 characters or a TikTok video. I respect activists when they're active and do meaningful things. Not the kind who get angsty over whatever's trending on social media, then move to the next cause d'jour.
