People need to be treated as adults. Make decisions and be responsible for them. Sure, people need to assisted as best possible with their addictions and provided access to services that can help them and also making sure companies have good governance in place for things like money laundering etc, but that doesn't mean you make it harder for the rest of society to do what they want with their money.
