Although from memory not ALL branded machines, there are now some machines that simply have denomination selection and players are required to play "all the lines", as in a 1c game being 50c a spin and so on. As all new machines are ticketed players can just cash out the residual amount if they dont have enough to meet the min bet. I would not be suprised, along with tighter machines with reduced odds and service levels, clubs and munfacturers find ways to push up average bet size for the NSW market to offset the hit to revenue of cashless and precommitment. You can be sure consumers will pay indirectly for the new system, but if the small percentage of people with problems being restricted to the following day or week is probably a net benefit.
