I think a prudent investor needs to objectively ask WHY the market is putting Appen on such a low P/E. Remember, it is forward-looking.
If one simply buys companies because their P/E is low, without understanding why, they’ll not have a nice experience in the market.
This is a growth stock that isn’t growing, with a management team who have been groping in the dark for the past 18 months. Every outlook statement they’ve made has been wrong. I think the decline is terminal. Someone will eventually buy them for parts.
