omhs equivalent in manganese ore is about 460k tonnes from their tshipi stake.

manganese ferroalloy constitute about 330k tonnes per annum with 8 furnaces. it takes about 2 tonnes of manganese ore per tonne of silicomanganese, not sure about ferromanganese.

then theres the sinter plant which should be able to use up the waste products from the ferroalloy production. im not sure about these numbers though.


at any rate, more than half of omhs(about 65% to 70%) of manganese ore requirements are covered by their stake in tshipi.

net effect should be positive.
