I think you're probably right re ETF and US funds rebalancing/ rotating out of goldies. The US increasingly drives the ASX gold sector and big ETF outflows can create opportunities for value investors here
I dipped my toe in at 1.29. EV is attractive. Very profitable at current POG and can't see gold falling too far in this brave new world of ours. Any reversal in monetary policy will be short lived IMO
