Rainfall has a somewhat coarse correlation with available feed, but you can get a pretty good gauge of rainfall from BOM so I don't think it would be overly beneficial to shareholders for AAC to be reporting rain gauge amounts from various properties.
More important seasonal metrics that they could report are:
- Size and distribution of breeding herd (ie cows only)
- Percentage / number of cows Pregnancy Tested in Calf
- Number of calves marked (branded)
- Tonnes of fodder harvested and/or in storage
