I've read quite a few quarterlies but I've never seen commentary like this before. It's like management are on the pills/weed and cherry picking any possible thing which can be construed as a positive...I'm not sure what the ASX listing rules are on announcements but really there should be a requirement that company announcements have to be an accurate reflection of the business performance.
I can just imagine there was a management session with Jen about listing 'anything which could be construed as positive". First container to Malaysia. "Robust cash position" paid by fooling institutional investors!
The company would have been better served by pointing to the broader market trends citing A2 Milk and Danone who are basically experiencing similar issues....
