Are there that many short positions to create enough of an impact to create a short squeeze? The only figure I can see is a total of 4.91% of all available shares shorted, this doesn't seem like a significant number?
Bub's currently ranked as #27 of the top 100 shorted stocks.
I believe with the recent Gamestop example, 140% of all shares were shorted, so hedge funds had actually shorted more shares than those available, dont ask me how that works, but something to do with shorting shares which dont exist, only happens in the USA.
