Reach already works independently of Microsoft 365 or SharePoint. The only association that product has with MSFT is it runs on Azure servers. But that’s provided by LVT not by the customer, so there’s no existing technical requirements for customers to get up and running with Reach.
Given the explosion in Reach license sales (+709% YOY), I think its clear that a continued reliance on MSFT would only hold them back. It’s good to see them recognise and focus on this.
I’m definitely intrigued to see what major updates they announce for Reach and other new products.
