Whilst the results were good there were a couple of things that would have cause some concern to short term investors.
First was the forecast of reduced profits for 1st half.
The second was all the risks around input costs and the shipping and supply chain issues.
Also, they mention that sales levels and sell thru are returning to pre-pandemic levels.
Then there is the increased investments (costs) in the US to support growth.
All these are understandable to me, and perhaps most people, who have been longer term investors.
Others, who have a shorter horizon, may have got nervous and decided to jump.
the AGM and the profit outlook will be critical in November.
