Here's some free inside information for holders. I have no sentiment so don't get mad at what I'm saying.

My gf works at David Jones and Myer. Her experience has been that Myer's floor management have no direction in how they go about managing the floor. There is no clear guidance as to what management want her some of the women in this Myer are expected to do. it's pretty much up to them to look busy as there is no clear communication on what tasks need doing. Obviously they take care of customers etc but if there are items to be moved around they can't do it simply because no one has informed them. This leads to imbalances in customer support product levels being stocked up and general team efficiency. Despite her telling me that Myer is easier to work for than DJ she and a few others are considering leaving because there isn't any clear direction from managers about hitting goals effectively as well as little to no learning opportunities.

I've seen this first hand in another Myer in Canberra where it is painfully difficult to find any workers in particular sections.

According to her the management in Myer is a contrast to that of David jones which has high expectations of workers and gives them clear tasks/goals and KPI's to hit. The floor manager is easy to get in touch with.

Again I'm not long or short Myer and even if I was this post would have no impact on the sp. Just letting holders know how their investments are being handled by managers.
