That stores in Greater Melbourne (plus potentially Greater Geelong and Ballarat, in supposedly 'short, sharp lockdowns' - ha, ha) will be closed for many weeks more due to what the 'Herald Sun' this morning says is Victorian Labor's 'hopeless' continuing restrictions is unhelpful to MYR.
Living in Melbourne, I ordered an item from MYR via online on 15 September 2021, but it hasn't been packed five days later, showing the pressure the staff must be under. My tracking merely shows it's being 'prepared'.
Then there will be delivery delays with Australia Post subsidiary StarTrack drivers going on strike for a day on Thursday 23 September, and Friday 24 being a stupid public holiday in Victoria for the AFL Grand Final that's being played in Perth, WA of all places.
It's still good to order from MYR online, as other retailers will be having similar delays, but we can't expect anything close to speedy delivery if one chooses 'standard delivery'.
According to Alexa, the MYR website in Australia viewings have jumped further to a ranking of #124 as of two days ago. Worldwide, the site is #9184, also up.
