UMG's SP must be suffering due not just to the Ukraine/Russia situation but latent fears that a new sub-variant of the coronavirus may see governments reimposing restrictions.
Australia is only a minor market for UMG but consumer sentiment has shifted downwards, even though petrol at A$2.20 a litre may not be a lot more expensive than 20 or 30 years ago in real terms, and given waqes/salary growth over such periods.
