I know I will get criticism for this but, has anyone dug a little deeper and realised that this is a big miss from what Analysts have been expecting. Revenue of 1.189 billion vs consensus forecast of 1.241 billion. The bigger miss is EPS of 18.98 which is below the worst estimate 19.6. Estimate average 23.1 and ranged from 19.6 to 29cents.
Now as I have a large holding I hope the market will look past this and look at the crazy high prices and record margins going forward and not be concerned about the past. But that doesn't seem like something the market is doing ATM, I am thinking SQM reporting miss and 10+% drop after the announcement last week. Even though Li Stocks in the US did great considering the sea of red for the market will the sentiment continue here?
We shall see how the market reacts hopefully it hasn't been a pump and dump.
