The only negativities I could quickly find were how wheat futures traded overnight dropped for May 2022 contracts, and this brief comment (among a fair swathe of good news) at Grain Central:

"...While there is no doubt there is enough elevation capacity around the country to load out 42.9Mt, the logistics network and Mother Nature will potentially let the team down. The drenching rains across the eastern states in the past three weeks is a case in point..."

Are there worries about the safety of bulk ships given the volatile (some say 'start of World War III) Ukrainian situation?

The A$ rose half a cent overnight, which is not good for exporters.

GNC's debt levels are not a concern with the $$$ from handling and storage it's raking in, and AFAIK demand remains excellent for wheat and canola. I don't see much mention of barley.

Canada may increase its Spring wheat plantings by two to three per cent but in a couple of provinces, 40 per cent allegedly remains in drought.

The USA is apparently not increasing its exports.

    I'm as mystified as you.
