The market appears to agree with you, as the Share price has moved up to $A0.17 per share at close of day.

OEL has 4,795M shares on offer. I have a few of them. The AUDvsUSD is below $US0.63. So a 0.1c OEL dividend per share would cost $A4.8M or Just over $US3M leaving about $US 22 million in the bank for other uses. Effectively Management would be taking advantage of the low AUD to reward share holders. Which would be a nice thought before Xmas. If the trend is your friend and the AUD falls even further against the USD then a dividend would become even better value from the point of view of the company. Just a thought.
