They have to install the base software in line with existing customer equipment and commission it. That is what collects the scan data and works it magic. That will be a chunk of the cost.
If you look at the cash flow you will not see anything about inventory in operating costs. Even if they aere selling machines straight from the supplier there would be Only in investment (plant and equipment). There is also nothing about inventory in the Current Assets.
