The Kidman figure was post tax. My problem is mostly around the refusal to pay dividends - it is always ‘needed to reinvest in the business’. There is always an option to reinvest in a business, but the board have a fiduciary responsibility to the owners (shareholders), and our needs seem to ALWAYS be LAST. If they weren’t supported so generously by the major shareholder they would not be there. It’s almost as though they sit down each half year and plan out reasons NOT to pay a dividend. Does anyone here think that is right?
