Hugh Killen said he has always planned to hold onto the abattoir and is super keen to reopen it, and the $1m plus per annum ‘interim running costs’ are not material.
im not sure where his conviction comes from - he has zero experience running abattoirs - and doesn’t even know the process of turning cattle into meat. Yet… he can boldly - without research - just decide to keep pouting menu into it.
I guess it is easier than making a hard decision and being accountable.
