very interesting the 'value' to PE that can enact change, vs a small shareholder that is passive ie cannot force company change.
My gut feeling, PE took one look at IVC and saw alot of fat that can be trimmed. I don't doubt this given substandard management who have been collecting their rising pay cheques without performance. As small shareholders we can't do anything about this. Hence why its important for small shareholders to focus on company's whereby management and company long term profits are aligned.!!!
Anyway good luck to those that bought over the last few weeks and can offload at a profit.
These sought of situations can never be forecast.
I am still happy. Given the only information I have, ie the companies performance, and managements historical misallocation of recourses, there was no alternative pathway for me.
I missed this buy out opportunity, but my capital is still safe.
You win some, but I didn't loose some. Just lost a missed opportunity.![]()
